Zeus Cave | Kuşadası
Springs are formed by underground waters naturally emerging to the surface. There are four types of springs. When underground waters in areas with calcareous structures erode the limestone and reach the surface, the resulting spring is called a karst spring. In karstic terrain, when the caves formed by underground waters collapse, sinkholes, known as “obruk,” are created. Zeus Cave is one of these sinkholes.
